(Almost) nobody enjoys paying taxes. Especially as you get richer you have more friends who do all sorts of circus tricks to avoid paying taxes. And you feel like you should be doing some of that too. Rich people end up privatizing much of their life. And then they don’t like why others depend on government subsidies to make ends meet. This seems to be a universal theme.
