As @profplum99’s recent paper (& an ♾️# of academic studies show) #’s like CPI doesn’t account for the difference in inflation across different socioeconomic classes… Lower-income households face significantly higher inflation than rich ones, on the order of ~0.7% per year. Taking 1 inflation number, applying it across all socioeconomic classes equally & then not accounting for the compounding of this effect over 58 years, is propaganda at its finest. 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇 👇
